31st July 2009. My eldest daughter, Sarah aka Along, enrolled her Diploma course in Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin (PTSS) in Arau, Perlis. Since there is no specific signage to PTSS, we reach to Bukit Kayu Hitam - the border of Malaysia and Thailand.hahaha...but that's not really far for us to turn back i.e. about 15km to PTSS.It took us 7 hours to arrive from KL inclusive of 3 'pit stops' at R&R Tapah, Gunung Semanggol & Gurun.What a long journey via highway!
Along will be there for 1 year as she had took the Certificate level at another branch of Politeknik for 2 years (2006-2008).Well...she have to leave her i10 (nickname 'jacgo' ) in KL since it is not advisable for her to bring there.
We were informed that all the students being quarantined.Not allowed to going out of the campus since there are about 20 new students are suspected of H1N1 fever! I wish & pray everything fine, not only to Along but the rest of the students & employees of PTSS.
We left PTSS at 4.45pm and heading to Setiawan sending my another daughter , Syafikah, to my in-law house.We reached Setiawan at 10.15pm.Ika had been 10 days on her 'official relax' days when the place she were study been closed due to the H1N1 cases too.She will be backed to her campus tomorrow (about 42km from Setiawan to UiTM Seri Iskandar).
Yesterday is a hectic driving day.
Anyway, we are happy for Along.All the best dear!
